Hey there! I'm not sure if you remember me but I go to Village and we met doing a show a few years ago. This is going to be totally out of left field but...

My daughter recently passed away from cancer. In her memory and in honor of the other children who are currently battling cancer, I'm captaining a team for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. (Is captaining a word? Oh well, I'm going with it.) Relay for Life is an overnight event and each team is asked to sell something at their campsite to raise additional funds. My hubby mentioned the idea of selling massages. I was wondering if you and any of your fellow students would be interested in helping us. It would be a great way for you to build a clientele and I might be able to pay you a nominal fee. (Doesn't "nominal fee" make it sound tempting? We can work something out if you're interested.) It's July 14-15th at Lake Oswego High School.

God definitely is working in this because I had no idea that you were pursuing a massage therapy license until I followed the link from Jennifer's blog a couple months ago. I had forgotten again until this morning when I was trying to figure out how to find massage therapists for the relay. Somehow your name just popped into my head. So I visited your blog and voila, you're licensed! (Coincidence? I think not.) If you can't do it, perhaps you have some friends who might be interested???
