also went to see coldplay live last month.
gotta say that it was not such a great show.
sound quality was a bit iffy....
and chris martin and his falsetto....sometimes a bit much.
don't get me wrong...
great band, great sounds on the albums, great videos...
and the song 'fix you' rocks it right....
maybe just an off night.
they want to be a huge, monstrous best-band-in-the-world type band.
the show didnt live up to the hype.
i may be spoiled with the radiohead show last year. and u2 from all previous years. with 3 albums to pull from, coldplay just might not have the setlist to compete. it is a competition, right?
it at least seems like they are having one between themselves with the prices they charge for the stinkin things.
i have some video of the show, maybe i will post it.

Yes, do post some video- I'd love to see it. Coldplay has some great videos, I agree, and their album sound (from what I've heard) is excellent. Sad to hear they aren't great live.

We were in the lawn though, maybe the seating makes a difference?
Can't wait for U2 in December (I'm a U2 concert virgin!)
