i would just like to take a moment to perpetuate my opinion that the rainfall in our wonderful city is to be received as God's grace upon the people of this city.
this is a sense that i had years ago, have mentioned only to a few, and would like to state today to you all.
so what?
so....go walk in the rain.
be in the rain.
no hoods. no umbrellas. no Mercurys over the head.
get wet and enjoy it.

YEAH! i hate it when people call rainy days 'bad', 'ugly' or 'gloomy' days. the rain is so beautiful!
the bible says that God causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. people take that to mean that 'bad things happen to everyone', but if you think about the agrarian cultural veiwpoint from which this was written you start to realize that rain was a blessing.
what it's really saying is that God sends His blessing and gives rain on even those that don't deserve it.
