A Business Card for Gina

Gina recently started up her practice as a licensed massage therapist in Portland, Oregon. I know Gina from classes at East West College of the Healing Arts. Through providing massage and bodywork services via her company, Three Rivers Massage & Bodywork, Gina's goal is "Helping you find Balance, Peace and Harmony through the art and science of massage therapy."

We started looking for imagery inspired by nature on istockphoto.com. Gina found this image of a time-lapsed blurry stream with a small green island that worked wonderfully as a backdrop for her card. The blurry stream made an interesting background for text without sacrificing readability. Furthermore, the contrasting sharpness of the greenery on the shore makes an interesting focal point without distracting from the all-so-important information in text.

I found this unique and friendly font called "Peanut" from Veer's Type website, a site I continue to go back to again and again to find fonts for myself and my client's marketing materials.

The end result is a business card that Gina was proud to show off to her friends, family, and clients. Best wishes to Gina on her new adventure. If you are looking for a massage therapist in NE Portland, give Gina a call!
